Document #47 Nawab of the Treasury (Updated) [Clover] - Mar 17 2007
To work with the Djelibeybi Council in distributing funds the Council shall select a representative by a majority vote who will gain the position of Nawab of the Treasury through The People's Revolutionary Klatchian Co-Op Committee (KCC). Through immediate use of the KCC's treasury the Nawab will have responsibilities regarding the solicitation and evaluation of Payments, Grants and Gifts and the negotiations involved. Regular contact and communication will be maintained between the Council and the Nawab as the Nawab acts as an arm of the Council and not as a separate body.
The Nawab can precede with actual Payments, Grants and Gifts at her/his discretion but must seek co-approval of a Magistrate if anything Against the Spirit of the Position qualifies. When funds become low in the KCC Treasury the Nawab will contact a Magistrate to exchange funds from the Council Treasury directly to the KCC Treasury.
The Nawab must be a citizen and should not simultaneously hold a position of Magistrate or Vizier excluding periods of title transfer or in extreme cases, which will be only considered acceptable by a majority consensus of the Magistrates. At least once a term the Nawab shall produce a document outlining their expenditures and will also be responsible for producing similar documents when called upon by the Magistrates or the Citizens of Djelibeybi.
The Nawab has freedom of access to all commercial and banking properties that the Council represents to serve as an overseer.
