In retribution for the judgement against Morporkian Magistrate Insanity, the Morporkian ambassador to Djelibeybi, Grissom, has opened a case against Magistrate Leyan al Mahd in the Djelian courts. In that case, Grissom claims that rule 100 bars Djelian Magistrates from punishing Insanity, because Insanity had no broken any explicit rules, and that rule 318 was violated in handing out a title punishment without a rule being broken. Magistrate Ptenisnet commented that Grissom's interpretation of the broadly worded rule 301 is incorrect, and that 301 lawfully permits Insanity to be punished for his actions against Djelian citizens in Ankh-Morpork.
