A divine miracle has occurred, and many of the agnostic peasants and fighters living in Djelibeybi have found a god or goddess to worship. While adapting to this change, the new converts suffered from wildly varying, extreme religious beliefs and alignment. This resulted in some inconvenience to anyone slaughtering these converts to please their own gods. Fortunately, the extremism died out quickly along with the extremists, and the remaining new converts are much more moderate in their beliefs. An interview with Hagi revealed that factions among the converts typically worship similar gods. Scribes, for example, typically prefer worshipping Juf, God of Papyrus. Hagi also answered that persistant philosophical question: do cats believe in a god? Indeed, he stated that they do, and implied that female cats might have an affinity with Sarduk, Goddess of Caves. Presumably, male cats would prefer rubbing against the legs of Bast, God of Things Left on the Doorstep or Half-digested Under the Bed. Finally, while the current changes may experience future tweaking as more groups of citizens gravitate toward certain gods or express their alliances more openly, nothing else is planned regarding changes to the Djelian pantheon and matters of faith within our fair city. Hagi did state that future work with gods would be focused on Ephebe for a time, which might result in some changes relevant to Djelibeybi.
